Diamond polishers/burs are dental devices for polishing or drilling teeth. They consist of a steel core and are studded with diamond grains.
There are different grit sizes according to the field of application. Very coarse drills are used for removing, for example, old fillings, while fine drills are used for smoothing and polishing composite and tooth surfaces.
