Headgear

The headgear is an external orthodontic appliance, in which small tubes are attached to the patient’s back and canine teeth, and the appliance is attached to the patient’s head or neck with straps.

These appliances, placed outside of the mouth in front of the patient’s face, are considered very unaesthetic and are very visible. The headgear is attached to the patient’s head with straps, while the Delair face mask has no straps and only requires adjustable supports for the forehead and chin.
